GOOD LUCK W GETTING THAT PRICE
"Good luck w getting that price." I posted a screenshot of a property's price history. The top row showed a $25 million asking price, listed for sale on October 8, 2026.
Below it: a $3.45 million sale listing from January 23, 2016, removed three days later. The next entries were for rent. A February 20 price change showed $8,000 a month, and that rental listing was removed on February 24.
The two sale asking prices are more than ten years apart. The newer one is about 7.25 times the older one, a difference of $21.55 million. Neither row shows a completed sale.
The screenshot gives no address, square footage, renovation history or explanation for the new price. It cannot tell us what changed about the property between those listings, or what anyone actually paid.
Even the rental figure is an asking rate, not a sale price. The visible history ends with the new $25 million listing. My comment was about getting that price, not evidence that a buyer had agreed to it.
